Course Description
The finish line. This level locks in accuracy and validity, teaches you to draw the conceptual framework that ties your whole study together, and walks you through assembling everything into a complete mini-protocol, the kind you could carry into the next course or into a real grant application. You leave with proof of what you can do, not just notes.
Who this level is for
Learners completing the Foundations journey who want a finished, defensible protocol in hand. Recommended after Levels 1-4.
What you'll learn
- The difference between accuracy and precision, and which errors threaten validity versus power
- How measurement bias creeps in, observer, instrument and subject, and how to design it out
- The main types of measurement validity, and why validated instruments are so powerful
- How to build a simple conceptual framework linking exposures, confounders and outcomes
- How to assemble your problem, question, population, variables and framework into one complete mini-protocol
You finish with: Conceptual framework + your completed mini-protocol.
