Who this level is for
Learners completing the Designing journey who want a finished study design in hand, plus anyone who evaluates diagnostic tests or works with existing datasets. Recommended after Levels 1-6.
What you'll learn
- When a medical test is worth studying, and how to design studies of test reproducibility and accuracy (sensitivity, specificity, predictive values, ROC)
- How to use existing data well, secondary analysis, ancillary studies, and where systematic reviews fit
- How to choose the single best design for your specific question
- How to write a clear, complete study-design section for your protocol
You finish with: A completed, design-sound protocol outline.
